As a Raleigh wedding planner and florist, I understand better than most, that flower choice can really make a wedding. They’re the perfect decoration. They accent so many places. They look great everywhere. In this blog let me share with you some of my recent favorites.

Roses:
In flower language, roses represent everything from love to desire; it’s no surprise that they’re an iconic wedding staple. I paired beautiful garden roses with dusty miller for a classic look. The use of soft hues and delicate textures in this piece created such a romantic atmosphere. Ashley was breathtaking.

Scabiosa:
This delicate bouquet is the perfect union of creamy white Scabiosa and greenery. Representing strength, Scabiosa or Mourning Bride adds an elegant furl and interest to this oblong shaped arrangement. This raw, organic flower captures texture and radiates rustic charm. Rachael and I loved this arrangement for its simplicity and grace.

Artichoke Flower:
This next design made a statement! Artichokes represent peace or hope – both lovely sentiments for a new marriage. This bold, geometric bloom brought originality to this bouquet. Its large presence was best paired with smaller, more delicate companions like peonies, roses, and wheat. Marianne loved the uniqueness of this piece and so did I.
Baby’s breath:
The care free beauty of baby’s breath makes it a perfect companion flower for any design. A symbol of long lasting love, it fills out a bouquet wonderfully. And in recent years, it’s proven it can stand alone too! So whether you use a little or a lot, the feeling is the same – soft and airy – just like its name! Emily and Michael were floating on air.
