This is a special wedding to me for a couple of reasons. First, because it was the first of the Spring 2015 wedding season! And what a FANTASTIC start it was! I was so honored to provide coordination as well as floral design for the couple.
Second reason: Ashlee & Mark had a long engagement and Ashlee patiently planned every detail, working so very hard to make it special for them. She said it was her gift to Mark. 🙂 She is such a fun girl and Mark is such a complement to her. To illustrate perfectly, at rehearsal when Mark arrived, Ashlee said “Oh good, Mark’s here. I feel so much better when he’s with me.” How precious is that?! I melted. But I digress… I was over the moon happy to witness all their hard work pay off. It was so obvious they had such a blast at the wedding. It was truly a beautiful thing. No one deserved it more!
Ashlee is so expressive, right? In her review commenting on coordination, she said “It’s a lot of sharing, but is totally worth it”. She was an exceptionally organized bride, so it was so easy to pick her brain and be prepared for the big day. And as she can attest, I do pick my bride’s brains!
Ashlee had a fun palette of eggplant purple and lotsa BLING! She loves calla lilies, so that became the focal flower for the designs. She wanted a white bouquet – I’m a huge fan of the bride having all white! And the bridesmaids had a lovely mix of purple blooms and small touches of white ones. We added rhinestone accents to all the personals and what I call the WOW piece – the reception entry piece. Female family members had wrist corsages with rhinestone bracelets. I die. I was ecstatic at how they turned out and so was the bride. Paint me uber happy!!!
The wedding proceeded flawlessly, and I give credit to the fabulous vendor team for that! Thanks to:
